about weed...

weed is so confusing... i love it. i love smoking and just hanging out with friends, listening to music, etc. just like every one else. Ive just got so many different feeling over it. I cant figure out whether god put it on earth to be smoked or if satan put it here to tempt us. Every thing is so confuzing i wish people would just stop saying its bad so i would feel less guilty about smoking and i wish my parents could understand where im coming from. can any one relate to this or elaborate?

Ok well i took a nap, and in the process i had a dream, in the dream I first started with giving a ride to some of my friends to their house, for some reason the cops chase me so I stop. The cop ended up being a girl I used to like... which then she shot me up the nose and I die.

The dream doesn't stop there. I become this dead "soul". When I'm a soul, all I would think about was my past and how i could have made it better. I also saw my family, they where depressed about me. Some could see me, It felt very real, real to the point where you touch something and it felt like you where really touching it.

Anyways, In this dream, I knew it was a dream, so I tried many methods to wake up, but nothing didn't work. I even tried sleeping but ofcourse that didn't work. I woke up when I decided to call it quits. I start freaking out because now I started thinking that maybe I really was dead. I started seeing how I should have changed my actions. I just didn't want to be that soul anymore. All of a sudden I woke up.

I never expirienced this type of dream, it freaked me out.

I don't really understand the term "Jam" as a genre of music.

All the Jam bands I've ever heard were merely really good bands that like to put all sorts of influences into their music and love to play together more then to make music just to sell records.

I don't understand why people have to give these bands a genre, especially "Jam." Jamming is just playing and enjoying music, usually with a lot of improvisation. Bands like Led Zeppelin used to jam all the time, but we don't call them "Jam Bands."

I think people just call some bands Jam Bands because they feel an impulsive need to stick all music into genres and because they don't understand the complexity of musicianship or enjoyment.

I don't know if I'm on the right forum, I just registered two minutes ago......anyway, let me introduce myself, I'm a french student, I'm on my fourth year of english studies at university and for my ...... how shall I say that......my (memoire) I chose to work on Woodstock Festival 1969! But for this year, I have to work on my first part which is "the ideology of the hippies".
